The receptionist will take your fluffy friends’ weight and move you to an exam room where a veterinary technician will take a history and define the reason for your visit. The technician may make recommendations as to laboratory work, bloodwork or x rays to be performed based on the initial history.
Step 3

Customer Reviews
Great place. A wonderful mix of new medicine and old school common sense. When my goat broke his leg after hours, Dr. Shelton was the only person within 50 miles that would even take the case and the goat healed up perfect!

Great cozy vet clinic with wonderful service.
Dr. Shelton is gentle and knowledgeable and he does a super job with everything I’ve brought him, including my pigs and my dogs. Front desk folks are nice and helpful, and the vet techs are skilled and considerate.
I drive from denison to either of the two clinics in Gunter or Collinsville, and I don’t mind doing it, because I know what kind of a supportive environment I will find when I get there.
Lisa S.
I have been using Dr Shelton for seven years, trust him 100%, completely dependable during work hours and emergencies. We moved an hour away, and I still drive to him. He is extremely intelligent, knows his business, and has a great bedside manner. Just a really good guy! We feel very blessed to have him.
